THE BRIEF

Yellow Pencil needed an identity as bold as its name — one that could live equally on a business card and a building facade. The brief was to build a complete brand from the ground up, then carry it into the physical space, designing an interior that makes the brand impossible to ignore.

Brand and space were designed in parallel — each decision informed by the other. The result is an environment where the identity isn't applied to the interior, it is the interior.

The pencil draws the plan. The plan builds the space. Yellow Pencil's identity is rooted in that single idea — that every great space begins with a mark on paper. The logo frames a pencil within a blueprint grid, a visual shorthand for the studio's end-to-end approach: from first sketch to finished build. Yellow, the universal language of construction, grounds the brand in the work itself.
